IMPORTANT: Once you patch to version 52, any saves you have made previously will not work. If you are still running Windows XP, I recommend downloading and installing the v42 patch then the v52 patch (below) before playing. The GOG and Steam versions require no patching. I don't know if this is a safe executable or not. When running Angel of Darkness with Windows Vista, 7 or 8, I recommend Tomb Raider Chronicles' Windows Vista Multi-Patch, Windows 7 Multi-Patch or Windows 8 Multi-Patch instead of the patches listed below. My Norton AV removed the TRAOD P4 V6.6.3 executable on accounts of it being a "SONAR Heuristic.156". Do I need to use V6.6.2 or V6.6.3 as provided in your original post? I also was using the original TRAOD P4 (build 52). This is where I got the patch from if that helps.Īlso, can you provide a download to the one you mention if it isn't the same one? Running vanilla AOD using the Launcher does work, minus the mods I want to play, whether on my GPU or not. Using my integrated graphics instead of my NVIDIA GPU crashes the game on launch. I use the GOG version and I want to use the graphics mod (Texmod) before I get the controls one, but it doesn't work: it runs but I get the dreaded AOD blackscreen bug and loading any game, saved or new crashes the game like so: but in its current state (including the updated one on the facebook), avoid it.īlank の投稿を引用:Months ago I have worked on game update which includes a lot of new features fixed in-game controls. This would be awesome if the new controls, instarun and bump animations could somehow be turned off, because the bug fixes are nice. Thankfully, save games don't care if its there or not. Restarting it and reloading the save is faster than trying to set up a jump correctly with this patch. I rather take my chances with alt-tab, even if that often crashes the game. I often chat with friends, but after hours of bumping against stuff. I'd say the ♥♥♥♥♥ up controls make the game 100% more difficult but not in the way you want.ĭo not get this patch unless you really REALLY need the overlay. reposition yourself by walking back a step? no, screw you, we turn around. If you get this patch, be prepared to bump against everything and to need half a minute to just climb up a ladder, because the instant run and the bump means if you try to go towards it, lara instantly runs and if you aren't aligned 100%, she runs just past the ladder and bumps against any wall behind it. so you want to reposition yourself for a jump, but instead of walking back a step, you change directions 180°. you cannot walk backwards unless you hit the walk key which doesn't always work. It makes it insanely hard to get around because if you run around a corner and just slightly touch the wall, you're re-arranged facing it, the animation plays and you come to a full stop. If you run against anything, lara does the collission animation of the old TRs. But it changes the controls in a horrible way. PP: I posted this now because of the Steam tasks :P.ĮDIT1: You can find the 'newest' versions of it on my facebook page - Ĭountry#playingonbrokenscreen の投稿を引用:Months ago I have worked on game update which includes a lot of new features fixed in-game controls.ĮDIT1: You can find the 'newest' versions of it on my facebook page - funny is a lot of those issues where in the PS2 version as well *NOTE: You should check the Intel SSE
